I think it is quite entertaining, however, it is not very realistic. Scientist are seldomly geniuses and find things every week, the great moments are very rare and most of the time a lot of work is involved before and aftere

      I *love* it!
Johanna is right saying that scientists don’t find new things every week, but everything else on the show is quite realistic I think. The protagonists are physicists and yes I know loads of people that are as *geeky* as Sheldon, Leonard, Raj and Wolowitz!

I sometimes get a bit disappointed with the show though, because (especially in the first seasons) is sometimes a bit sexist :/ Women have mind as sharp as men’s!

Are we talking about the TV show? or the scientific theory?

If we’re talking about the TV show, I don’t really like it.

As far as the scientific theory goes, it’s the best thing we have and is widely accepted by scientists. I do like to ask questions to my physics friends along the lines of “what happened before the Big Bang?” this tends to annoy them!

I bet you probably meant the theory?
There’s a lot of evidence that supports the Big Bang Theory, it’s pretty hard to deny at this point that our universe used to be a tiny dot and then expanded very rapidly to the universe we know today.

If you WERE talking about the Tv show…
then all I have to say is that Amy-Ferra Fowler is my personal role model and hero <3
