For me the most unique thing about science is that it is so BROAD. I never believe people when they say “I don’t like science” because I’m sure there is SOME part of science they would think is interesting! Plants, rocks, chemicals, energy, brains, blood, fire, particles, computers, stars, electricity, is ALL science-related! There is always more to discover about *everything*, and I think that’s pretty special.

To my mind the most unique thing is that I acutally ask very fundamental questions about life. However surprisingly or not it is still so easy to find things which are not known, and you become quickly an expert in your own little world.

There is nothing unique about science. It is part of everyday life. I actually think it is an important part of being human. We all “do” science. You might see something you don’t understand, you might try and test it, or poke it, to find out how it works, and if you can’t figure it out, you might go and find a book that helps you… or if you’re the first person to find out what it is, or how it works, you might write about it!

This is science, and I think we all do some of this everyday, whether it is trying a new flavour of ice cream, a new insect in the back garden, or a strange light in the sky.
