At 9 clock the light in the fishroom gets on, and then around 9:30 the fish will start to lay eggs. Depending on what I need to do with them I need to collect the eggs, find out what stage they are and put them in the incubator. Then I should do more experiments, for example trying to amplify DNA from chromosomal zebrafish DNA.
In the afternoon there are usually either our lab meeting, where we speak about our findings or problems from last week, or there are talks from other scientist, where they present there work. In the evening I have to put fishes into mating boxes to prepare them for the next day.
