I don’t think much science supports the existence of ghosts…but as a brain scientist, I found something else related. A lot of research has looked at why people believe in ghosts, since there’s no real science to show they existed. It seems there’s a trend between believing strongly in ghosts, and certain mental disorders such as anxiety and schizophrenia.

Now, that’s not to say anyone who thinks ghosts are real have a mental disorder, but it’s clear that disorders like these havea real impact on your brain that will affect it in ways we can’t really predict!

Science usually needs to have some evidence for certain phenomena, and I do not think anyone with a clear mind ever has seen or touched a ghost. So I do not think any theories are out there.

No. According to science, ghosts are as real as the tooth fairy and Father Christmas.

There may be many good explanations for why people think they have seen a ghost, but none of them involve the appearance of dead people.

I wish there were so that at least some of the Hollywood films would be more realistic… But no, there aren’t.
