Question: How long have you been working with animals and why do you enjoy it?

I’ve been working with animals since the first time I worked in a lab – in my second year of university.
Since then I’ve worked with mice, rats, tiny fish, and even humans (still technically an animal!)

I like working with animals because they seem to be like tiny humans – there are even studies that talk about the brain and how some diseases mess up the social lives in mice! And rats are even MORE social and smart than mice.

In the end, working with animals lets me kind of study human brains and psychology, even if I am actually looking at a mouse brain!
