• Question: Who is your favourite scientist and why

      Okay, I’ve thought about it and I finally decided – my favorite scientist is, I kid you not, Bill Nye the Science Guy.

      He IS a scientist – he helped develop a very important part for the Boeing 747 (a type of jet but that’s all I know about it) and even helped build a part of the mars rover to explore Mars!

      But he also knows how IMPORTANT science is, and not just to stay all day in the lab working but never telling anybody what he’s doing. Most of his life he’s gone out and inspired people to do science, or to learn about science, or at least pay attention to what we know about science. I think it’s gotten pretty crazy that people think science is mumbo-gumbo when really everyone can learn about it! If we had a few more Bill Nye’s around, we might live in a better world.
